LUEGO DE POSTPONERLO DURANTE AÑOS (?) ARRANCO MI LECTURA DE METAL.Empezamos tranqui, con los dos especiales que no dicen nada, no se entiende que pasa ni cuál es el tema con los metales. Aparentemente hay algo con el Nth metal pero también el dionisium (resulta que es un metal?) y más cosas poco claras. El reveal del final de The Forge es interesante y hay algo que banco en unir pequeñas cositas de otras épocas y series (incluídas en este tpb pero que no son parte del review). Arrancamos flojardi pero habiendo disfrutado el Batman de Snyder, todavía le tengo un poco de fe.

Las dos grapas que sirven como preludio a Metal están bien, no son espectaculares pero sí que proponen una premisa interesante. El resto números viejos para rellenar y poder crear un libro y venderlo a ese precio.

Lo primero que hay que decir es que este tomo es un sacacuartos; The Forge y The Casting podrían haberse incluido en el TP que recopila la serie principal y hubiera sido suficiente. El caso es que los dos números en cuestión no están mal, pero el resto del tomo recoge números sueltos de series anteriores (Final Crisis, Batman: Endgame, Return of Bruce Wayne, Nightwing...) en los que se supone que se habían ido plantando las semillas de Metal, seguramente en forma de huevo de Pascua, porque apenas he visto la conexión. Por otro lado, la lectura de estos números sueltos no es muy reconfortante, ya que están completamente descontextualizados y como he dicho, los posibles vínculos con Metal no tienen la magnitud suficiente para acaercarse a una mínima narrativa.
