Plot

Beyond our universe, there is the Multiverse ... and beneath the Multiverse is a nightmare realm where every fear that has ever been felt on our Earth becomes reality. Now an evil force as old as time wants to drag us down into the shadows, into the realm of never-ending terror.

Tiene buenas ideas, tiene sin dudar un buen dibujo, pero argumentalmente no tiene el recorrido que debería. Los metales, el concepto de los batmans oscuros, el considerar a superman como una batería, me ha gustado mucho, pero otras como, personajes que salen en 2 viñetas y no salen de nuevo, algún metal cerca de su resolución, y que no digo nada más para no hacer spoilers, pues más naif no puede ser. Venía con 0 expectativas y esperaba encontrarme algo lamentable y no ha sido así. Quizá sin tantas prisas por acabar, o no queriendo abarcar tantas cosas el evento habría estado mejor. Eso sí, miedo me da el siguente evento...

Uno de los Dark Batmen tiene un "nano Alfred" que repite todo el tiempo "How can I help you?" mientras asesina gente. Si eso te parece un delirio divertido y querés leer más cosas así, entrale a esto. Sino, no es para vos.

Uno de los eventos multiversales más divertidos de todo DC, no es una obra maestra tampoco el mejor evento hecho, pero es todo un viaje a través del multiverso oscuro y uno de los peldaños hacia el nuevo universo DC tal como lo conocemos en la actualidad, totalmente recomendado.

En primer lugar he de decir que este tomo no lo he leído unitariamente, ni de cabo a rabo, sino mezclando los números con el resto de "Metal" según el orden de lectura del evento completo. Dicho esto, el evento en general me ha gustado mucho más de lo que pensaba. De hecho, no lo he encontrado nada confuso como muchas personas me habían dicho, quizás porque lo he leído exhaustivamente y siguiendo el orden recomendado, lo que me ha permitido seguir el hilo de todo sin problemas. Por otro lado, cabe decir que en esta ocasión Snyder ha conseguido, para mí, que el final esté a la altura del resto de la historia, y me ha dejado un gran sabor de boca. La única pega que le pongo al tomo, es el número "The Wild Hunt" el único Tie-In que veo innecesario y que más que aclarar confunde, además de que apenas aporta nada.
