Dosificando con inteligencia la información acerca del proceso que conforma la premisa, Daniels presenta una narración en dos tiempos que alterna inicialmente el antes y el después de un experimento arriesgado: un anciano matrimonio de inversores es convencido de hacer historia siendo como los primeros sujetos de una terapia de rejuvenecimiento consistente en la fabricación de un cuerpo óptimo a partir de su propio ADN al que se trasladaría toda la información retenida por sus cerebros.
