Plot

A compelling one-shot pits the Amazon Princess against the harsh realities of spousal abuse. Assisting on an archaeological dig, Wonder Woman is confronted with the sad and frustrating truth of abuse between a married couple working on the dig. Their relationship is paralleled by an ancient story Diana translates from the stone tablets the team has discovered. They recount the tale of a young Irish girl who, seeking to free her mother from enslavement by a Greek conqueror, becomes a Wonder Woman of sorts for her own age.
