Una obra muy "Hellboyesca". Aquellos que hayan leído "El Hombre Retorcido" se imaginarán por dónde van los tiros: Mucho homenaje al Folklore del sur de Estados Unidos y su lado más supersticioso, desde lo sobrenatural hasta la ambientación en sí, retratada de forma magnífica y lúgubre a manos de un desatado Eric Powell, cuyos diálogos aportan todavía más a la inmersión ante este mundo de fantasía, cruel y tenebroso en ocasiones, e histriónico e inocente en ocasiones.
