Voy a centrarme solo en el tercer volumen porque ya reseñé los dos primeros. Sigue siendo brutal, cuando crees que Mills se queda sin temas que criticar, te vuelve a sorprender. El tercer tomo empieza posiblemente con la parte mas floja de la serie por hablar de una batalla que nunca pasó y aún así Mills la usa para relatar el horror de las batallas que se desarrollan en el interior de una trinchera. Asistimos a una guerra que se vuelve más inhumana cada día que pasa y con cada nuevo avance cientifico, una erosión de valores que transforma a los hombres en bestias. Pero, lo mejor es sin duda cuando decide alejarse de las trincheras. Mitad de los episodios del tercer tomo transcurren fuera de las trincheras y son tan buenos o más que los episodios en el frente. Joe Colquhoun por su parte es simplemente majestuoso, pese a la gran variedad de escenarios no baja su nivel en ninguno. Su trabajo en esta serie tendría que estar expuesto en un museo. En fin, una obra maestra.
