Following the success of the Jean- Arnold Schoofs collection in October 2015, Sotheby's announces the new edition of its comics auction on 14 May which will include important works by Franquin, Uderzo, Herriman, McCay, Jacobs and Manara.This sale comprises nearly 260 lots, all original artworks, bringing together the greatest European and American authors of the genre. Enthusiasts will admire the cartoonist skills of Hugo Pratt, feel the suspense of Jacobs and Jim Lee, delight in André Franquin’s humor or get lost in the reveries of Little Nemo.
