Plot

The Flash celebrates 50 years of publication in an 80-page special. The story stars all three generations of the Scarlet Speedster, each facing the same villain in his own time. The framing sequence is by Mark Waid, with art by Mike Parobeck and Jose Marzan, Jr. The Jay Garrick chapter is written by Len Strazewski, with art by Irv Novick and Dick Giordano. The Barry Allen chapter is written by Gerard Jones, with art by Carmine Infantino and Joe Rubinstein. The Wally West chapter is written by William Messner-Loebs, with art by Grant Miehm and Tim Dzon.
