Velveteen & Mandala

Plot

Teenage girls Velveteen and Mandala have set up camp along a river in the Tokyo outskirts of Suginami. Commandeering a fully-equipped army tank, the pair are essentially all that separates the neighbourhood and the rest of war-ravaged Tokyo from a full-on zombie invasion. While the countless undead may appear to threaten their survival, the real peril comes from each other as they fight over every conceivable matter. This edgy, zombie horror confronts readers with the many horrors of existence. Whilst zombies can be vanquished with fire, memories are harder to kill!
