This paperback collects the Batgirl: Redemption storyline (also known as Redemption Road). The paperback collects the six comic books from the mini-series Batgirl. Originally these comic books were published from September, 2008 to February, 2009. These were written by Adam Beechen and illustrated by Jim Calafiore.
In this storyline Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) returns to bust heads on the streets of Gotham City and redefine her place in the Bat-Family. Raised by the evil David Cain, one of the world's deadliest men, Cassandra Cain has faced more hardship than ease in her life. Now that she's tying up loose ends, she crosses paths with old adversaries and allies alike on her road to self-discovery.
