El tomo recopila el origen de Nightwing narrado en primera persona y dos historias serializadas semanalmente. La primera no está nada mal aunque sea ochentera a tope. Nightwing hace team-up con Speedy y aunque lleva la voz cantante es el segundo el protagonista, ya que la historia gira en torno a él, tanto en su identidad secreta como superheróica (Roy Harper). En la segunda historia eso todavía es más acusado, con Nightwing ausente en los 5 capítulos centrales de los 9 que tiene la historia. De hecho, es un simple secundario, en una historia muy confusa con doble, triple y hasta cuádruple juego. Entiendo que Nightwing a día de hoy vende más que Speedy (Arsenal), pero que el tomo se llame "Nightwing: Old Friends, New Enemies" me parece un poco tomadura de pelo. Salvo por contarnos el origen, es un tomo de Speedy sin lugar a dudas.
