Alan Moore y Gene Ha dejaban el listón bien alto y era difícil igualarles. No obstante encuentro en este tomo que las personalidades de los personajes han sido muy simplificadas, limitándose a identificar una característica por cada uno. Además lo que eran casos de comisaría de barrio se sustituye por amenazas multiuniversales, cayendo en el cliché de superhéroes. No obstante se mantiene el ambiente del original.
