Filled with belligerent cowboys, lumbering automaton deities, and wide-open spaces, this comic gives voice to a highly respected new creator in the field of sequential literature. Skyscrapers of the Midwest was awarded the 2004 Isotope Award for Excellence in Mini-Comics, and was nominated for both an Eisner and Ignatz award during its serialized run.
