Plot

Another universal threat looking to wipe out the Universe? Check! Imperiex was the name of the arch villain in this 2001 crossover, which introduced a bad guy so bad, even Darkseid, the DC Universe’s biggest villain, teamed up with the good guys to stop him. Involving time travel, stolen planets, and a plan that involves Superman flying into the center of the sun, before sending Imperiex to be destroyed by The Big Bang, Our Worlds at War nearly saw the end of the DC Universe, and should be next to the definition for “Big” when you look it up in the dictionary. Or at least the Super Dictionary.
