Esta primera edición, con una tirada de 5000 eemplares, merece TODA la pasta que vale. En España nunca se editó en blanco y negro en álbum ( fue seriada en BN en la revista Creepy ). Una edición muy bonita con un papel muy bueno por el que, aunque han pasado ! Cuarenta años!, Conserva todo su esplendor con esos grises que solo el Maestro es capaz de hacer.

La primera edicion de Bloodstar no es esta de Ariel Books que data de Septiembre de 1979.La primera edicion es la de Morning Star Press que data de 1976.Una tirada de 5000 ejemplares. Los primeros 1000 iban firmados por Corben. Que es la que yo tengo.Dejo una breve reseña que he sacado de internet para que os informeis bien porque esta de Ariel Books que he podido ver tambien,no se acerca ni de lejos a la calidad de la de Morning Star Press. En 1976, tras nueve meses de intenso trabajo, Morning Star Press lanza por fin “Bloodstar” en una edición limitada de 5.000 ejemplares, en tapa dura y en blanco y negro,considerada la primera novela grafica.Tres años después, con Morning Star ya desaparecida victima de la nefasta distribución, Ariel Books realiza una reedición en rústica de peor calidad con nueva rotulación y un texto revisado por Jason Pocsik. Entre 1980 y 1981, “Heavy Metal” la serializó en sus páginas, ahora ya con el color añadido por el propio Corben y un par de sus ayudantes.
