Plot

During a walk around school grounds, Ollie Osnick's girlfriend, Jane, gets shot by a stray bullet fired by gang-member Tony MacDonald. While she is treated in intensive care, Ollie modifies his old Spider-Kid costume to turn himself into the Steel Spider. He hunts down MacDonald and starts beating him mercilessly, only coming to his senses when the police appear. At the hospital, Jane tells Ollie that there's a chance she may have been paralyzed. Ollie responds that he'll support her throughout her recovery.
