Después de la enésima relectura, no me cabe duda de que el primer volumen es el mejor con diferencia, aunque los otros no esté nada mal, por supuesto. Por otro lado, respecto a la primera vez que leí esta obra hace 20 años, la experiencia lectora acumulada en forma de clásicos literarios, hace que haya disfrutado mucho más y haya pillado muchas más referencias, así como entendido mejor algunas que son más obvias pero permiten más de una lectura. En fin, una joya que envejece estupendamente.
