Por fin tenemos el equipo titular completo una vez por todas y se inicia el torneo regional. Además de ver el debut del "Basquetman" Sakuragi y como lleva adelante esa tarea, el autor nos empieza a presentar de a poco los personajes de otros equipos que veremos a futuro si el Shohoku continúa su senda victoriosa. El dibujo y la manera de plantear los partidos son geniales y el tomo se lee rápidamente. Como extra se habla de las dos películas que se hicieron de la serie incluidas al final del tomo en la sección de aclaraciones de la traducción que llevaba adelante el traductor Agustín Gómez Sanz. PD: Encontraron las dos apariciones de Sailor Moon en el tomo.
