Un tomo fantástico en muchos momentos pero que en su principal virtud tiene también su mayor defecto. La línea Epic funciona un poco a modo de edición integral, y en el caso de Moon Knight el tomo incluye todas las apariciones del personaje previas a su propia serie. Así, los números en los que Moon Knight es el invitado en las series de otros, no siempre interesan. Especialmente se nota en los números de Marvel Team-Up, en las que hay páginas y páginas en las que sale el rico universo de secundarios de Spider-Man y que no pintan nada en el tomo. Sin embargo, el tomo incluye las geniales apariciones de Moon Knight como complemento en el magazine The Hulk, que había salido a rebufo de la serie de TV del coloso esmeralda y que tenía un tono más adulto que a Moon Knight le iba de perlas. Finalmente, los cuatro primeros números de su propia serie mantienen el nivel en lo narrativo y en lo gráfico, aunque el color es menos lujoso. Doug Moench y Bill Sienkiewicz crearon una auténtica joya.
