Se abren varios frentes y de a poco se va a desarrollando la trama que va a confluir en la revelación del misterio de quién mató a Aizen. Ante la inminencia de su ejecución, Rukia tiene un flashback impactante y nostálgico, recordandonos las palabras de ella hacia Ichigo sobre que le recordaba a alguien de su pasado y las palabras que le dice a Kon cunado pelea contra Grand Fisher (pequeños detalles que nos remiten a capítulos pasados). La cantidad de ataques y zanpakutō que quedan sin aclarar es increíble y es algo se viene repitiendo tomo a tomo, ni siquiera un misero asterisco.
