Still recovering from the terrible cataclysm that rocked the planet, Doctor Zaius tries to maintain the fragile coalition of apes, chimps and orangutans, in an effort to ensure that the rebuilding of Ape City continues apace. But the cataclysm also shook something loose in the Forbidden Zone that could fracture Ape society as we know it.
