En realidad este relato esta protagonizado por Jann Polynesia, pero el autor lo transformó más tarde en John Rohner para las historias "John Rohner, marino" y "Rohner, la sangre del volcan". Planeta recopilo las historias de Ronner en un solo tomo, dejando fuera esta historia por entender que no se trata del mismo personaje.

Primeras aventuras de Jann Polynesia, luego Rohner, que me han soprendido un montón por lo divertidas que me han parecido. Algo así como un Corto Maltés con mucha más mala leche. Las andanzas que le hacen pasar al probre Artwright, jajaja. Eso sí, al final estoy de acuerdo con la reflexión del protagonista, que no es más que el Teorema de Thomas.
