Plot
名門・杜若（かきつばた）家の西洋館「玲瓏館（れいろうかん）」は、現在では学生寮として一般に開放されている。広大な敷地、美しい庭、快適なサロン。ここは贅を尽くして建てられた"宮殿"であった。経済的な事情から閉館やむなく、残された学生たちは最期の１年間を、争い、笑い合いながら過ごしていく。男女12人のストーリー。
