Plot

With four members on their roster, the Conversation Club can finally hold its first meeting! But when rambling lectures on textiles and outright threats of violence threaten to derail the club agenda, Namito must wrangle his friends’ eccentric personalities and keep things on track. Arai proposes that they should practice their conversational weaknesses by going shopping, so the club plans two challenges. Round 1—they must each order a crepe at a food truck. Round 2—they must enter a clothing store and successfully buy what they want instead of whatever the clerks suggest. In their heroic struggle, the club members deploy imaginative acts of illusion, feats of superhuman strength, and avant-garde fashion to their advantage. But their opponents are strong, and the members must contend with weekend crowds, silver-tongued clerks, judgmental onlookers, and so, so many sprinkles...
