Plot
A man of action and a man of science, Dr. Henry Pym invented an amazing growth serum and a cybernetic helmet, and with them he became - the Astonishing Ant-Man! Sin duda, este es el tomo de Epic Collection más flojo. La mayoría de historias son bastante aburridillas, y los villanos que le crearon al pobre Hank Pym no hay por donde cogerlos. El "Puercoespín", la "Peonza humana" y un tal "Cabeza de huevo". Pero de todo, lo peor son los diálogos de la Avispa. En su gran mayoría dan vergüenza ajena por lo machistas que son.

Clásicos menores. Las aventuras de el hombre hormiga y la avispa se siguen pareciendo demasiado a las historias de monstruos que Marvel publicaba antes de convertirse en la casa de las ideas. Todo aderezado con un poco de machismo. Es muy escandaloso lo superficial y pizpireta que es la Avispa. El dibujo tiene grandes momentos, sobre todo con Kirby, acompañados de otros no tan gloriosos. Entretenido y gracioso por momentos pero para nada memorable.
