I always stayed away from these Grand Design books because the art looked silly. I’m not sure if it’s that I’ve been going so deep into comics recently, or if it’s my love of all things old, but I loved every page and panel of this book. I loved the art style, at first it seems as if it’s being put through a Lens of “how silly is this shit” and there’s an underlying silliness because of the art, but it’s taken seriously and I love that. Great book, incredible art, can’t wait to read the next issue
