Plot
Lois and Clark are very concerned when they see business owners trying to induce children into their stores to play slot machines, placed there by the goons of "Slug" Kelly. When the duo are held captive by Kelly and threatened with death, Superman takes over to clean house of the machines and the mugs responsible for them.

💭Superman desmantela una mafia de máquinas tragaperras, haciendo uso de habilidades periodísticas como Clark y de habilidades destructivas como Superman. 💭Un periódico rival controlado por un taimado político, trata de acabar con el Daily Planet. Superman lo evita y parece que también le coge bastante el gusto a lanzar criminales por los aires. 💭En la tercera historia del número, como ya anticipa el título, regresa Luthor, que controla a importantes empresarios con una especie de incienso para hundir la economía del país y beneficiarse en el proceso. Superman hace uso de dos habilidades recurrentes de esta época, la de los disfraces y la de la pinza vulcana para hacer dormir a conveniencia. En este caso es un criminal quien la recibe y no la pobre Lois. 💭Cerramos el número con una historia mediocre sobre una especie de droga medicinal en medio de una trama maleantes de medio pelo.
