Plot
When people who attend a concert at Plymouth Hall are robbed, seemingly without their knowledge, Clark and Lois attend the next evening's concert to see if lightning strikes twice. It does, and Clark discovers that mass hypnotism is involved, which makes it all the worse a few nights later when the concert is broadcast over the airwaves, making people fall asleep while listening to the program, and allowing criminals to rob them blind.

💭Un pianista con poderes hipnóticos usa su música para dormir al público y que sus secuaces les desvalijen. No es una historia demasiado original, pero es entretenidilla. 💭La segunda historia sobre los incendios y el inventor es bastante rutinaria y no deja demasiado poso. 💭"La ciudad submarina" recuerda irremediablemente a una historia de Aquaman. El superhéroe atlante bien podría haber aparecido, ya que se había estrenado en cómic un par de meses antes. Pero en esta época los crossovers aún no se estilaban más allá de alguna portada suelta. La aparición de una sirena llamada Kuela, una civilización acuática y seres gigantes bajo el mar, hacen a esta historia la más entretenida del número. 💭Para finalizar tenemos aquí un villano algo más poderoso de lo acostumbrado, "The Lightning Master", que pone en apuros a Metrópolis con sus poderes eléctricos.
