What a fun fuggin issue! Maybe I’ve been reading too much Flash recently, but I’m sick of heroes time traveling only to the future, I understand it’s easier because the only thing you have to worry about is not listening when someone tries to tell you how you die, whereas in the past you gotta worry about eating the last chocolate scoop at an ice cream shop and that makes Hitler win WWII (don’t ask) but I loved this, they didn’t worry so much about supes changing shit. And in this one little ole ish he joins a circus, saves FDR, sees the OG JSA, talks to the Spectre, and is transported to Germany to fight Nazis! Wha..what?? Awesome.2x - 4/19/24 - What I found fun this time reading it in context was the people in Metropolis being in the NEXT moment that we saw them from the previous issue, while Supes had been living for months. Bibbo in the exact same position with his buttcrack out made my laugh. Also the first (and only?) time supes is seen on the toilet! Superman poops too!
