In the year 2143, Captain Storme recounts for his grandchildren what it was like in 1943, when the Nazis and other criminals ran rampant and the likes of Superman put a halt to their evil, greedy plans for loot and murder.

El primer Action Comics sin ninguno de los dos creadores de Superman es bastante anodino. Una historia genérica más de lucha contra los nazis, aunque ésta cuenta con el aliciente de que se narra desde 200 años en el futuro, en el año 2143. Al final de la historia aparece Superman, que no ha envejecido nada porque según él mismo, está hecho de un "material duradero". Un concepto éste de su longevidad extrema, que hasta entonces no se había establecido en las historias.
