¿Era necesario esto? Para nada. ¿Aporta algo a la novela gráfica original? Más bien no. ¿Son buenos tebeos? Depende, alguna de las miniseries es bastante satisfactoria aún a pesar de tener encima la espada de Damocles de querer ser una precuela de Watchmen. Los equipos artísticos son de primer nivel pero no todos salen del reto victoriosos. Si fuesen miniseries sobre otros personajes, inventados o los originales de Charlton a lo mejor su lectura se habría hecho más interesante. No lo sé. Sabiendo que son los protagonistas de Watchmen hay una sensación constante de que lo que lees es irrelevante. Aún así hay algunas miniseries que superan el reto con nota (minutemen o Silk spectre), otras entretienen sin más (nite owl por ejemplo) y otras son un pequeño desastre que no va a ningún sitio (Rorschach sin ir más lejos). Experimento curioso que en ningún momento oculta las ganas de DC de explotar más una gallina de huevos de oro que lleva dándoles dinero desde los 80.
