Si bien el prolífico Jeff Lemire ha tocado a lo largo de su guerra varios elementos del género, nunca se había atrevido a sumergirse en un relato de terror puro. Junto al fotorrealismo sucio de Andrea Sorrentino, Lemire toma la atmósfera del True Detective de Fukunaga y Pizzolatto, adopta un argumento básico más simple y lo retuerce para narrarlo como un misterio sobrenatural desde dos escenarios muy diferentes. Así, entrega un relato que horroriza desde lo más básico, retuerce y engaña en sus revelaciones, y nos deja caer por el abismo para recogernos en el último momento e intrigarnos para el futuro.

Ha tardado un par de números en entrar, quizá porque hacía mucho que no leía en inglés. Eso si, una vez dentro, ha sido espectacular. El dibujo como "a rayas" de Sorrentino está muy chulo y el cambio de color a rojo y los diseños de página son brutales. A Lemire estoy empezando a leerlo poco a poco y me está encantando. Todo genial.
