Plot

Collects Iron Man (1968-1996 1st Series) #245-257 and ANNUAL #10-11, and material from Captain America (1968-1996 1st Series) #9.

Iron Man and Doctor Doom face off in the future! The armored foes are reunited in a future version of Camelot, where they must join a reborn Arthur and Merlin in battle with very familiar faces! Then, Loki cultivates chaos as his Acts of Vengeance pit shell-head against the Wrecker and Chemistro! Inside the armor, Tony Stark continues to come to terms with his paralysis, and the Maggia makes its move - but what is their involvement with Hydra and A.I.M.? Aunque este tomo es peor que los dos anteriores le pongo 4 estrellas porque es el fin de una etapa realmente buena. Por desgracia en Marvel son muchos los autores que vieron finalizadas sus etapas sin un cierre a la altura de la misma (los 4F de Byrne o los Vengadores de Stern por poner dos ejemplos). En este tomo todo el buen trabajo anterior se ve empañado por tres eventos (atlantis ataca, actos de venganza y el factor terminus) que ralentizan las tramas y el desarrollo de personaje. Además hay un montón de fill-ins que sin ser malos no tienen el nivel de los números de Michelinie y Layton. Una pena que no pudiesen desarrollar más los secundarios que llevaban literalmente años introduciendo y que tampoco haya una gran saga de despedida, que parece que iba a ser la del misterio de la nueva Madame Máscara. Aún así es un tomo muy disfrutable
