Plot

Blink returns to the Exiles to replace the fallen Sunfire who was accidentally killed by Mimic at the conclusion of their last mission. The team is divided over Mimic's treachery and try to regroup as a unit as they are warped to the next reality. Gambit meets up with the Exiles and lets them know that Hyperion and a few of his former Weapon X members have been killing heroes in a bid to take over the world. The Tallus informs both teams that with the Exiles and Weapon X on the same world, they must kill each other off and only the six left standing will continue to the next reality.
