Magik finishes using her soul sword to free the Exiles from their medieval mindset and return them to their right minds; Selene arrives to help the heroes break through Zarathos' guards and confront him on behalf of Kulan Gath; Blink obtains the necklace of power from Zarathos but Gath betrays her and takes it back by force; The battle for control of medieval Manhattan continues.
