Álbum que recoge cuatro historias cortas muy flojas para la revista Tele Star (el Teleindiscreta de Francia), en las que incluso el dibujo se ve mermado al no realizarlo Morris solo, sino con "ayuda" de Michel Janvier. De las cuatro historias, "El canal" (92ª aventura de Lucky Luke), "La buenaventura" (93ª), "El rancho maldito" (94ª) y "La estatua" (95ª), solo salvaría parcialmente la tercera por su pseudo homenaje a Psicosis (con cameo de Hitchcock incluído). Los principales problemas de las historias son: nulo o casi inexistente ambiente del Oeste, trama súper simple y humor escaso o ineficaz.
