Pretty much like my recent reading "Starlin's Words & Pictures", this amazeballs, massive ArtBook celebrates the Life (as it is also written from his own perspective) and Achievements (largely his collaborations and commissions, along with remarkable outtakes and unused stuff) this gifted British has developed throughout his 30+ years comic book career. Bolland's collection of creations is impressive. An iconic illustrator, this book serves as an extraordinary blueprint for learning the proper crafts (either amateurs or AB lovers) in a classic way (feasibly from scratch). Because he details the whole process required: input to output. Some phenomenal (even rare) pieces of Brian's Art can be found here (notoriously in B&W). His 2000 AD and DC production is amply illustrated (sho' nuff with the meaning!!) but I really dig the Covers section (since BB™ is a beast when it comes down to page composition). Categorally, another essential and noteworthy compilation of fine works from a MASTER.

The Art of Brian Bolland.
