Plot

Professor X has ordered Kitty to leave the ranks of the X-Men, a position she feels she's earned, and join the ranks of the neophyte heroes in training the New Mutants. Needless to say Kitty is not happy about her mentor's decision. Wolverine leaves the team for on a leave of absence. Meanwhile, Xavier attempts to adjust to his new body...a body that enables him to walk! Plus, the deadly Sidrian Hunters return. And in Alaska, Scott runs into a very familiar face. Illyana consuela a kitty por la decisión de xavier y algo alienigena las observa desde la mansion. Logan se va un tiempo a canada y discute con kurt la decisión de xavier con la que no esta de acuerdo, para el kitty es una luchadora. A lilandra y xavier tambien les observa ese algo mientras discuten sobre los deberes de cada uno que les impiden estar juntos. Stevie ayuda a kitty con su rabia y la anima a ser mejor y a defender lo que ella cree, por lo que ella comienza a persuadir a xavier para que cambie de idea. Ororo se encuentra ante un cambio de tiempo que ella no ha convocado ni puede controlar y se asusta por ello. Es navidad y kurt va a ver a su amante en NY. Kitty esta sola con xavier en la mansión y tras detectar algo en un tunel baja y se enfrenta a sidrianos que han nacido de un nido que crearon cuando atacaron. Aparece lockheed para ayudar. Vistas sus habilidades xavier la permite volver a la patrulla. En alaska para conocer a sus abuelos scott se topa con madelyne pryor
