Priest's Run on DS reminded me of that on Black Panther. But his approach here established the DC Icon as a Villain. In this hefty OB (nearly 1400 page-long) Christopher features such a strong, determined character whose alter ego (Slade Wilson) is dealt with a proper sense of suprahumanity and dosed mercenary skills. His DeathStroke emanates Coolness™. Narration flows into several Arcs (some real interesting, others quite crazy) that connect to this whole view about the Truest Foe Ever Lived. I really liked this badass attitude. You feel it, 'cause of the writer's consistent stories. On the other hand, pencilling is mainly delivered by Pagulayan, whose art proved tight enough to keep me visually satisfied till the final tales included. Carlo's dynamic style helps our One-Eyed Killer being recognized as a sleek, unbeatable guy with a rigid (unbroken?) code. Supporting artists like Pasarín, Bennet and Chang are gifted too. Certainly, an approved reading. #Deadliest🔫Expendable🗡Soulja
