Con un continuo ir y venir, abrazando totalmente la idea de que, cuando se cierra una puerta, una ventana se abre, Cooke planteó su particular homenaje a ese periodo de transición e incertidumbre que fue el paso de lo que conocemos como la Edad de Oro del Cómic a la Edad de Plata. La posguerra mundial marcó el medio siglo a nivel social, cultural y político, en el mundo en general y en Estados Unidos en particular, como si la inocencia hubiera regresado del conflicto con estrés postraumático. Ya hay mil reseñas sobre la magia que tira Cooke acá. Yo quiero destacar la edición en TPB, que replica todo el material del absolute incluyendo los extras y las notas de Darwyn. Una hermosura.
