Was much too young to read this when it came out, and it’s a little too old and a little too underrated to be easy to find. I’ve stumbled over more issues of Crisis on Infinite Earths than this mini. The tone is a little surprising, having a real layer of humor, I’m not sure if it’s Mingnola trying to do Colorful superhero’s, but it’s a little strange. Truth be told I like humor in my comics, no matter how dire or serious they are, life is too hard for my comics to also spit in my face. Also I usually don’t enjoy the Darkseid/new gods nonsense, but after reading Tom Kings Miracle Man recently I’m all in. Can’t wait for more.
