Plot

Kevin keeps setting himself up as a target until he finally meets a couple of Grackleflints and a Red Cap. Gaining a clue in the battle, they send Sean to follow the trail. A trail that leads to the aptly named Styx casino.

During Mirth's absence, Kevin, Edsel and Sean have been taking the fight to the streets. After a run-in with a couple of Red-Caps and a pair of Gracs, they discover clue that might lead them to Umbra Sprite headquarters.

Grendel backup story, "Devil By The Deed", continues. Part 4 of 9. Grendel's plan to discredit the wolf Argent succeeds. But it may also fail as Grendel is unaware of how much Argent had begun to mean to Stacy.
