Un final amargo pero coherente, Tezuka no podía estarse quitecito y darnos un final estilo Adolf sino que tenía que meter como sea uno al estilo MW. ¿Para qué Tezuka? No vas a hacer nada con esa decisión y estas dejando como un miserable a Manjiro. Dejando a un lado el final, El arbol que da sombra es un título muy sólido. No llegará al nivel que dejó Adolf pero es lo suficientemente buena como para considerarla de las mejores obras dentro de la biblioteca del autor.
