Plot

El cierre representa lo que fue la etapa de Tom King en Batman: buenas ideas con momentos alargados y aburridos. El relleno literario y pseudoelevado no funciona, al igual que esa narrativa confusa con la historia yendo para atrás y para adelante sin una justificación clara. 85 revistas duró esto. Demasiado.

El final de la etapa de Tom King, un run con altos y bajos pero que en general termina siendo una run memorable, conectando 74 números al arco final donde King pondrá todo al asador, dando como resultado ciudad de Bane, la batalla final entre estos dos personajes, historia más que recomendable, un festival de dibujantes que en general elevan el nivel de calidad de la historia, ciudad de Bane totalmente recomendada pero en general toda la etapa del Batman de king es recomendable.

Fin a la etapa de King, con una historia que me ha dejado con una sensación satisfactoria en general, pero con muchos de los problemas narrativos de este autor. No entiendo la obsesión de este guionista en presentar los hechos a saltos y de adelante para atrás y de atrás para adelante sin ningún criterio narrativo, lo que hace que siempre resulte una narración confusa. No obstante, el argumento en general me ha gustado.

City of Bane el arco que da conclusión al extenso run de Tom King como escritor en Batman, lo disfruté bastante, tiene momentos épicos, momentos tristes y momentos que hacen renegar a uno como lector, pero en general disfrute de esta historia y es muy recomendable si te quieres adentrar en los cómics de Batman de hoy en día, el dibujo es excelente con artistas de calidad como Mikel Janin, Jorge Fornés, Tony Daniel e incluso un Romita Jr haciendo un buen trabajo, altamente recomendable esta edición que contiene los 10 números más el anual 4.
