Este omnibus recopila las 3 series limitadas con John Byrne como autor completo. Esto es bueno y malo. Bueno porque aunque no está en el cenit de su carrera se nota que le dedicó tiempo y la narrativa y el dibujo son impecables en las tres series. Bueno porque es una historia con toques pulp y camp que le sientan muy bien y la hacen muy entretenida. Bueno porque se ve el amor por Batman y Superman (o por un Batman y un Superman). Malo porque hay personajes que o no le interesan o no les pilla el punto y navegan por estas páginas sin mucha personalidad (el ejemplo más claro: wonder woman, sale poco y regular). Malo porque la resolución de la historia es precipitada y anticlimática (sus fans ya estamos acostumbrados ¿Quién no recuerda el fin de la saga de Terminus en los 4F?) y malo porque muchas veces nos tenemos que creer ciertas soluciones argumentales porque un personaje dice que es así y punto. Pero lo bueno gana y es un tebeo que si ya eras fan de Byrne te hace seguir queriéndole.
