Como lector y aficionado a los X-Men, la sensación final es la de estar ante un cómic funcional pero prescindible. No aporta grandes revelaciones ni expande de forma significativa el universo mutante; simplemente rellena huecos para quienes quieren tenerlo todo perfectamente atado. Por ello, es difícil recomendarlo más allá de los completistas o de los fans acérrimos de la serie de animación que deseen consumir cualquier contenido relacionado con X-Men ’97. En resumen, un cómic correcto como complemento, pero que se queda corto en ambición y profundidad. Un producto de acompañamiento que cumple su cometido, aunque difícilmente dejará huella en la memoria del lector.
