Very tough to drop back into this story after a month or so. The scope is just TOO big. Don’t know if I’ve ever thought that before of a story, not even Malik’s Tree of Life. I just have a hard time keeping the story straight, the monitor and the anti-monitor, matter and anti-matter, Superman and old silver fox Superman. It’s all just a lot. I did enjoy the ending, Perez really playing with paneling in a nice way that I haven’t seen much at this time. I hate when two stories run at once in printed form like this, I just hate it. Still a fun big bomabastic issue, excited to see what (maybe??) come next? Doodledoodoodoo as Buddy Sorrell would say. Thank God for “The Official Crisis on Infinite Earths Index” or I would truly be lost. Read sitting up in bed, windows open, late at night, in a moment of almost freedom and it couldn’t be finer.
