Plot
Hulk buries Captain Marvel and Glenn Talbot (wearing the Super-Mandroid armor) in a pile of rubble and walks the corridors of Gamma Base until he finds the chamber where Jarella's corpse is located. The green behemoth frees her from a tube and cries her death.
Meanwhile, Captain Marvel helps Glenn Talbot exit from the Mandroid armor and decides to help the Hulk, while Talbot regroups his men to attack once more. When Marvel finds the Hulk, he's attacked by the green giant. But using his cosmic awareness powers, the Kree warrior convinces the Hulk that he only wants to help him.
The flying hero takes the Hulk to the sub-molecular studies lab to reduce him and Jarella to reach the subatomic world of K'ai, home of the dead queen. But after Captain Marvel successfully does so using the Micron-Cannon, the device is destroyed by a soldier following Talbot's command. Glenn's intent is to leave Hulk stranded forever in the microverse.
As a side story, in a cabin located on the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Doc Samson is treating Thunderbolt Ross who suffered a nervous breakdown.
In flashbacks: Fialan, Psyklop, Crypto-Man.
