First things first, if you are such a prejudiced CB fan, please feel free not to keep reading my review. Because Lee IS amongst the greatest pencillers on the medium. Anyone whose artistry may influence many others (along a whole decade) deserves nothing but Respect. Sticking to this amazing AE, Jim's work involving Muties was as breathtaking (then) as it can be experienced (now); this gigantic AB shows some detailed drawing which worth any money. His long-time inker (Williams) is also praised throughout the compilated issues, proving JL & Scott were pretty solid in their run. Here we enjoy a selection of skilled highlights from Uncanny X-Men (#248 thru #277) to X-Men (#1 thru #10), including 2 impressive Foldouts plus his acclaimed (still iconic) Xmen #1 Gatefold/Wraparound Cover, along with extra stuff regarding Promos, Trading Cards... All in its glorious, original format/size, thus showcasing his panels in the best way possible ("unvarnished" scans). #PurelyModernAgeArchaeology
