Bendis sigue narrando sin prisa pero sin pausa esta actualización del origen de Spiderman que expande y se recrea en elementos que en el original no hubo demasiado tiempo de desarrollar. En muchos aspectos recuerda a la película (lo cual tiene cierta lógica).
